The mussel and steak bar has been a firm favourite for over 17 years with worldwide visitors and Scots alike since we opened in 2005. We have been granted the most popular seafood and steakhouse by various organizations. Our restaurant has been awarded a member of the Scotch Beef Club because we have inspected and satisfied the criteria regarding the quality, provenance, handling and preparation of the scotch beef that is served.

Requirements
Documenting each morning what the kitchen needs before they prepare the day’s dishes
Cleaning and organising the food preparation area for the Head Chef
Delivering the ingredients that the kitchen needs to prepare to the food preparation area
Ensuring the Line and Prep Cooks prepare the dishes according to the specification and standards
Training new kitchen employees on the restaurant’s standards and regulations
Addressing and resolving diners’ and clients’ complaints quickly
Monitoring the kitchen area and the staff to ensure sanitation standards are maintained
Ensuring all food products to be prepared are not expired
HACCAP + COSHH
Seafood and steak restaurant working experience preferable
Awareness and understanding of culinary trends
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
Knowledge of health and safety regulations
