Our restaurant has been awarded a member of the Scotch Beef Club because we have inspected and satisfied the criteria regarding the quality, provenance, handling and preparation of the scotch beef that is served.

Requirements

  • Documenting each morning what the kitchen needs before they prepare the day’s dishes

  • Cleaning and organising the food preparation area for the Head Chef

  • Delivering the ingredients that the kitchen needs to prepare to the food preparation area

  • Ensuring the Line and Prep Cooks prepare the dishes according to the specification and standards

  • Training new kitchen employees on the restaurant’s standards and regulations

  • Addressing and resolving diners’ and clients’ complaints quickly

  • Monitoring the kitchen area and the staff to ensure sanitation standards are maintained

  • Ensuring all food products to be prepared are not expired

  • HACCAP + COSHH

  • Seafood and steak restaurant working experience preferable

  • Awareness and understanding of culinary trends

  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
